Jervoise Bay to Beachcomb

Well this was gonna be one of our best long walks we have gone on, but it was a bit hot and not much shade but still a beaut walk. This bushwalk would cut through the bush to the sandy shores of Jervoise Bay then along to we got to the Woodman Point Peninsula then back along the beach and back to the picnic area. Here is the mob before the walk.

The first part of the walk was along the bike path through the nature reserve for about two kilometers, but nice and flat and easy going.

Then we reached the breakwater of Jervoise Bay and time for some beachcombing, if you look behind Jackos head you can see where we would walk too.

Here's Harrison with some of the brakewater behind him.... and Sarah and Jacko.

As we walked along the beach the little fella Oscar, got just a little more brave with each kilometer.

Then when we reached the end of the bay we had to head through the sand dunes, and along an old foot path till we reached the other beach.

Here we reached the other beach where you can see the Cockburn cement Jetty in the back ground, here is the mob ready for their next walk.
As we walked along the Beach we pasted some real beaut old sail boats, it was a real Jimmy Buffet moment..... you could just see yourself laying back at the 'ass end of the boat' (I think thats a technical sailing term), with a tinnie in hand just soaking up the sea and the sun. Blue seas and blue sky ahhhh could you ask for anything more, Oh yeah one more thing Not a neville in sight.... aaaaa

Sarah finds an old wooden jetty that nobody looked after, but still what a ripper of a day.

Then the kiddies found a dead starfish that had been washed up on the shore.

So after a bit of 'show and tell' and a nudge and a touch, and a quick photo shoot it was back to the beach walk and a nice swim.

We then made it to the path and a quick walk through some sand dunes and we were back at the picnic area, where we had a nice rest and a ripper picnic (I went a bit over board but it was christmas hay).

The let the kiddies hit the beaut swings, so they really had a masive hit out this time. All up it was just on five Kilometers but it was a hot day, so it really was a hard walk but they did it easy.

The little fella!
