Noble Falls

Well this is more of just a picnic stop then a bushwalk, and after me and Harrison went walkabout over Red Hill we went here for our picnic. At this place they have a real beaut set of swings and some real good B.B.Q's for a sunday feed.







I've taken the kiddies up here quiet often but each time I have forgotten to bring the camera, so this was going to be the first time I got to take photos. Which came in handy as each time I have been up their the water was just running and not looking like a real beaut waterfall, but this time it was going off like a one legged riverdancer!




Okay it isn't the biggest waterfall in the world, but still it's a real little beauty hay. What you do is make a boat out of a piece of wood and race each other to see which one goes over the falls first. Now you'd think this was an easy way to have a race hay, but just as i through my boat into the river Harrison through his behind himself and into the bush. He thoughts like his old man poor bugger, so as he was disqualified yours truly went on to win the race. Oh well better luck next time little fella.









Sorry mate boat racing is over now you will just have to wait till next year mate, ha,ha sucker. Now as for the falls it might look pretty piss poor hay, but looks can be deceptive as you just don't know how strong the rip would be...... okay it's pretty piss poor but the kiddies still love the spot and with the swings they love coming back here. And really it is a real beaut spot and one worth coming up into the hills for, say a nice hot sunday Barbie and a few cans and just sit back for a picnic. Lives hard hay.
