Well this bushwalk was gonna be just a nice little walk in the bush, along what is called the Staceys track. It's up in the beautiful bush township of Jarrahdale in the Darling Scarp which is just over an hours drive from Perth.
Well this was the starting place for todays trip, we had our backpack packed with our tucker and off we went into the bush. This track was in good shape and the going was quite good which made Sarah happy as her and hills just don't go together. We just potted through some great Jarrah bush having a beaut gander around.
Then we came apron an old tree that gave up the ghost a fair while back and then came down like a tone of bricks. She looks bloody beaut hay, the kiddies loved it and spent a fair bit of time climbing over this great old tree.
It's funny what things go throw your mind at certain times, like when I was taking this photo I thought I hope the white ants haven't been to active on this old tree or I might be taking home three pancakes!
His a photo of me little princess Sarah, with some good training and natural breading (chip of the old block) she should turn out to be a beaut little tomboy. God help any young bloke in the future wanting to say g'day to her in a pub with her three big brothers keeping an eye on her.
But for now we have come to the end of our trip for today, as we were taking two tracks today. Hear we leave Staceys track and hop threw a beaut camping ground which has been closed down (bummer) and start our second track for the day. The kiddies were up for it they said so off we went.
